Pink Zebra Psychology is excited to offer Neurodiversity-Affirming Education & Training for schools, childcare and kindergartens, universities, community organisations, and workplaces. These trainings support educators and teams in meaningfully understanding, including, and celebrating neurodivergent individuals through evidence-based, affirming, and lived-experience-informed practice.

Jess Farago, Director and Principal Psychologist at Pink Zebra Psychology, is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi), and the League of Autistic Psychologists and Affirming Colleagues (LOAPAC).
Jess is a late-identified, multiply neurodivergent, twice-exceptional (2e) AuDHD psychologist practising within the Neurodiversity-Affirming Paradigm and the Social Model of Disability, seeing neurological differences as natural variations of human diversity rather than deficits, and is deeply passionate about working towards reducing external barriers, not “fixing” people.
Drawing on lived experience and evidence-based practice, Jess provides care with genuine understanding and compassion. She remains committed to ongoing professional development, research, and supervision so her work reflects the latest neuro-affirming evidence and language. Her lived experience brings a deep awareness of identity-first, non-pathologising language and attunement to internalised/less-visible traits and masking, adding authenticity and insight to her therapeutic work.
Jess’ approach is warm, creative, and non-judgemental, bringing humour and authenticity to her sessions. She understands how challenging it can be to navigate a world not designed for us, and centres accessibility, consent, and comfort. Therapy with Jess is not just about addressing challenges; it’s about self-discovery, empowerment, and celebrating your neurodivergent identity. She creates a safe, inclusive, and colourful space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported to live authentically.
In addition to her clinical work, Jess serves as a reviewer for Autism.com.au, an online platform dedicated to providing neuro-affirming resources and training for professionals who work with autistic people.
As a lived-experience AuDHD psychologist, Jess ensures that all materials published on the platform reflect the Neurodiversity Affirming Paradigm and uphold the principles of respect, inclusion, and authenticity for the autistic community.
